Winter in the South African bushveld, despite cooler mornings and evenings, enjoys long blue-skied sunny days, and excellent game viewing (thanks to increased visibility). The weather across the Sabi Sand, Kruger National Park and Kwa-Zulu-Natal safari regions is reliably good even in the South African winter and is arguably even a better time to embark on safari that the height of summer.
