Anyone who is traveling through East Africa and flying into or out of Nairobi. It is a perfect place to start a trip in Kenya, and a chance to acclimatise to the area.
What in your opinion are some of the most standout/impressive features about the property?
The rooms are wonderful, spacious and luxurious. But the area itself is very special too – Karen is a wonderful place to stay in Nairobi, with great activities but it’s also far enough out of the CBD to be quiet and relaxing.
What is the service at the property like?
Wonderful, efficient and polished.

We only had the breakfast during our time there. There was a really good buffet and an extensive hot breakfast menu. You can enjoy it on the beautiful outdoor terrace.
How would you describe this property in a few sentences to someone wanting to book it?
It has classic charm – it’s a gem in the busy city of Nairobi.
Tell us about the journey to get to the destination – what are the logistics like in terms of travel time, transport etc?
It’s an easy 30-min drive from the airport.
What do you recommend to a guest in terms of a minimum length of stay for this property?
I think you need at least two nights as one is a bit short to enjoy the location.
