Our chef was spectacular – custom menus were created according to our personal preferences. Guests also have a Klein Jan dining experience as part of their stay.

The Kalahari is a very unique from a game-viewing perspective. Loapi’s accommodation is very modern and private. It is perfect for couples or small groups wanting to experience the peace of nature.
What activities are available to do there?
Game viewing, swimming, horseback riding, sleep out experiences.
Tell us about the journey to get to the destination – what are the logistics like in terms of travel time, transport etc?
Flying in is highly recommended as it is quite remote, and the roads can be very tricky to navigate.
What do you recommend to a guest in terms of a minimum length of stay for this property?
A minimum of three nights is recommended to fully enjoy the experience.
What time of year would this property be at optimal enjoyment?
It is most beautiful between March to May when the weather is mild.
What is unique about this property?
You have a private guide, and get to see unique fauna and flora that you won’t see anywhere else – like meerkats. The red sand dunes are also very beautiful!
