Trekkers must be at least 15 years old, be reasonably fit and be prepared for hikes that can range from relatively easy to physically demanding (and long) depending on the gorillas’ location. Waterproof hiking boots, lightweight rain gear, gloves and layered clothing are highly recommended, as rainforest conditions can change
quickly (many of these are provided through your lodge – check with them).
