Great for: Natural Wonder of the World, adventure & adrenaline activities

Victoria Falls is an African destination like no other. The mystique of the Smoke That Thunders and the plethora of adventure activities on offer draw thousands of visitors to the area each year. Exploring the nearby rainforest, swimming in Devil’s Pool, air tours, gorge swinging, bungee jumping and zip lining are all even more extraordinary when you’re shrouded in the mist of the mighty falls.

With Zimbabwe’s Hwange National Park right next door, plus Zambia’s Kafue and Botswana’s Chobe National Park just a short journey away, visitors can get the best of both worlds by combining their Vic Falls adventure with a traditional safari. Southern Africa in general is a low risk Malaria area. Malaria is still present and risk is dependent on the specific area you are visiting. We advise getting in touch with our team if you have any questions regarding the malaria risk in the area you will be visiting. South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Namibia are low risk areas and most of our clients choose to not take malaria prophylactics when visiting these destinations. Preventative methods including long sleeve shirts, long trousers and mosquito spray are advised, especially after sunset and in the rainy months. If you are traveling to Southern Africa while pregnant, we advise you to consult with a doctor. The responsible decision is to take malaria prophylactics when visiting Malaria areas. If visiting Mozambique, we insist clients to take malaria prophylactics.
